New method for stabilizing masses

In light of recent problems with unstable masses in construction projects, Norditek presents a method that can improve the management of these challenging ground conditions. The method is time- and cost-effective and a key to both safe construction sites but also an enabler that creates multiple disposal options for loose masses.

Traditionally, dealing with clayey and unstable soils has been a lengthy and costly process of either excavating the unstable soil, excavating it and then backfilling with stabilized soil, or piling to stabilize the soil. Both methods are time-consuming and a burden on the project budget.

Together with the German machine manufacturer Backers, we can present a method that offers a quick and effective solution for dealing with unstable soils. The method is based on using a star sie ve in an automated process where the exact amount of the right components are mixed in to stabilize the soil. The unstable soil can be excavated, reworked and quality assured directly on site at a comparatively low cost. The result is a stabilized mass that is ready for immediate use.

Another aspect of this new method is that it does not require stationary facilities. Instead, we offer the first mobile facility for soil stabilization. This saves both time and money for contractors, as the entire process can be carried out on site without having to excavate soil masses for sorting and lime mixing.

Given the increasing challenges of unstable soils, the solution is more relevant than ever. It can change the way we deal with unstable masses in construction and infrastructure projects.
