Asphalt recycling technology has developed a lot in recent years and has become an increasingly profitable and environmentally friendly option. With our asphalt recycling solutions, it is possible to carry out shorter projects in the field and save significant costs for transportation, landfill and environmental fees.
Why recycle asphalt?
Recycled asphalt offers significant cost savings and the quality of recycled asphalt is very high. The recycled material is returned directly to an asphalt plant where it is mixed with virgin material before the production of new asphalt.
Compared to newly produced asphalt, you can therefore save significant costs. Norditek has ready-made concepts to test on your waste directly.
Our technology to recycle asphalt
With Norditek's mobile asphalt recycling plant, it is possible to recycle up to 100 percent of the asphalt. Depending on the characteristics of the asphalt waste, crushing, screening, wind screening and possibly an eddy current magnet are used.
The flexibility of our asphalt recycling plants is very high thanks to the mobility of the machines, which can be moved around for shorter projects and to optimize production.
Recycle asphalt cakes

Recycle milled asphalt
If the asphalt is milled, it can usually be sieved directly. This means that we shake out the fractions, which requires less energy. If screening is possible, it should always be chosen first; crushing requires more energy and should therefore only be used when necessary. A rule of thumb: "Sieve when possible, crush when needed".
The quality of recycled asphalt
The quality of recycled asphalt is now as good as that of newly produced asphalt, provided the right solution is used, taking into account the characteristics of the material. With the help of wind sifters and eddy current magnets, it is practically possible to recycle all types of asphalt waste.
Thus, the cost of recycled asphalt is significantly lower compared to newly produced asphalt.

Effective recycling, both from a socio-economic and technical perspective, requires that the work is planned well in advance and that relevant tests are carried out.
