  • Recycling rate: The large amount of material samples that Norditek works with helps us to develop efficient recycling processes for large material flows, such as excavation spoil, biofuels, and industrial waste. Through Our knowledge and experience and our modular system, we can approach the materials with good insight into composition and properties. Therefore, we can increase the recycling rate and ensure that as much as possible of these flows are recycled or reused.

Norditek's material sampling process takes place in these steps:

  1. The sampling phase:
    • A one-kilogram material sample is sent to us, ranging from a contaminated excavation mass to a production waste. We will instruct you how to create a representative one-kilogram material sample. The sample is received by us and our lab for analysis.
  2. The analysis phase:
    • In the laboratory, material testing is carried out, including particle distribution and adaptation to humidity, density and other physical properties (if chemical properties need to be evaluated, we send the material to an accredited laboratory for chemical analysis in consultation with the client).
    • These lab tests then provide a detailed understanding of which recycling methods are appropriate and effective for each material flow. Outputs include sieve curve, mass balance and proposed solutions.
  3. The development phase:
    • Based on the analysis results, Norditek designs and customizes its mobile recycling facilities. This ensures that they are tailored to handle and process the specific material flows in an optimal way.
