Norditek's eddy current separator can separate non-magnetic metal such as aluminum, copper, brass and more. The eddy current unit is built by Dutch magnet manufacturer Goudsmit.
Goudsmit has developed a special technique (HI) to pack and align neodymium magnets. The effect is a more powerful and deeper magnetic field while allowing more heavy metals to be recycled. Heavier metals (copper, brass, gold, silver, lead) are more valuable and also very resource-intensive to mine, enrich and produce.
An eddy current is created by a rotating magnetic field that induces eddy currents in the metals so that they are thrown off the end roll of the separator.
