About the position:
As a sales engineer at Norditek, you will work closely with the sales team to develop technical solutions and manage projects, from concept through testing to implementation. The role involves visiting customer sites to understand their needs. You will also work on testing, material analysis, and the development of advanced systems at Norditek’s new office, “Norditek House,” in Fjärås.
Job Responsibilities
- Technical Sales and Project Support: Workclosely with the sales team to develop technical proposals for more advanced recycling systems. You will also be responsible for technical layouts, drawings, and CAD.
- Client Visits:Identify and analyze client needs in collaboration with the sales team, from ROI analyses to delivery.
- Project Management:Oversee projects from concept to completion, with a focus on business-oriented and cost-effective solutions.
- Norditek House:As part of the sales process, you will conduct tests to scientifically establish the basis for layouts and develop more advanced recycling systems. You will also perform technical material analyses and build a knowledge base on material properties.
- Methods and processes:Develop and document work methods for sorting, sampling, and recycling, and identify opportunities for improvement and solutions in existing and new process flows.
- Training:Conduct training sessions on advanced recycling systems for customers, both in person and via webinars.
What we're looking for
We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, environmental engineering, chemistry, or a related field, and with experience working closely with production, machinery, or processes. You are highly self-motivated and eager to develop your knowledge and understanding of Norditek’s product portfolio, systems, and customers, and you share Norditek’s commitment to recycling, sustainability, and technology.
As a person, you are dynamic and interested in customer needs, which means you stay attuned to market trends and tailor your solutions accordingly. We see that you are both analytical and methodical, with strong execution skills and experience in managing projects. Furthermore, you are a strong communicator and ensure that every customer meeting lays the groundwork for long-term business relationships.
