Registration is now open for a new, accredited operator training course for recycling machines, developed in collaboration with SSG. The course is designed for those who want to operate more safely, understand the machine better, and get more out of the material.
After several themed days on separation technology, materials, and optimization, one thing has become clear: there is a high demand for more knowledge at the plants. Operator training is part of the Norditek Academy, where we bring together the knowledge and experience we have built up through real-world material flows and customer projects.
From Theory to Machine
The program consists of two parts.
1. Digital Basic Training
A web-based course that you can take at your own pace, which concludes with a knowledge test.
2. Hands-on training at Norditek
A two-day course where we work with your specific machine model. You’ll cover safety, daily maintenance, materials science, and how to operate and optimize the machine for different materials. We alternate between theory and hands-on practice, both in the lab and at the machine.
Approved training is recorded on your SSG card and becomes part of your documented qualifications.
What difference does operator training make?
- Safer Work
You’ll understand the risks and how to prevent them in your daily work. - Fewer Unnecessary Stops
When you understand the machine and the material, it becomes easier to spot problems before they become costly. - Getting More Value Out of the Material
The right settings for the right material can make a big difference in the results. And the operator plays a key role in achieving success.
We keep the groups small so there is room for questions, hands-on practice, and dialogue.

You don't operate the machine, but you want to understand what it can do?
Knowledge of recycling isn’t just needed by the operator. When more people at the facility understand the material, the process, and the possibilities offered by different separation techniques, it becomes easier to make better decisions. This can lead to more consistent quality, fewer stoppages, and greater value from the material stream.
That’s why Norditek Academy also offers team-building days and training programs tailored to your business. Among other things, we can review material flows, separation techniques, and how different processes can be designed to achieve better recycling results.
